This gives Esca more cause to frown. "A long time ago? Antonius' rule?" He takes a moment, quiet and to himself, to stare at his feet and puzzle this out. "I've no reason to disbelieve you, and you've none to lie. But... that is nothing I have ever heard..." A thought strikes him, then, and eyes wide he asks: "And you have never heard of Eboracon?"
