[event!] tiny-ification.

It's an event, or a curse day, or a crackplot, or whatever you wanna call it.

Characters can be age!reversed, starting now, ending at your choice. Who's affected? Also your choice. What age are they sent back to? Your choice again. Go crazy here, people, really.

When does it end? Ideally after today, but make it last as long as you need your character to be younger. You can have commentspam or 3rd person prose in the comments of this post, but please make separate posts with 1st person if you want them; just remember to add the 'what:event' tag to 'em.

Haaaave fun.

[A certain spark of understanding comes over his face as he watches Mildmay play.] Oh. Then the point is to make three--septads--appear?

[He tries, and manages a seven, a bar, and a cherry; without further scientific observations to make based off that go, he offers an earlier discovery.] The other glyphs sometimes give you things, too.

[identity profile] ohmykethe.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
Point's to make three of anything appear. It's just easiest with septads. Other stuff gets you more gorgons, though. [After a moment, he looks at the coins in Ptolemy's hand.] Or whatever those are.

[identity profile] i-am-ptolemy.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
Oh. Any of them must give you coins, then, if you cause three of them to appear? [Ptolemy looks at his rainbow-coloured money lol and remembers the one Mildmay played with.] Did you bring your coins--your gorgons--along with you?

[identity profile] ohmykethe.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 01:49 am (UTC)(link)
That's what I seen so far. I never saw anything like [He points to the nearest slot machine,] at home before, but gambling's easy enough to figure out.

Nah, they were here when I got here. [Shrug, shrug.]

[identity profile] i-am-ptolemy.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 02:03 am (UTC)(link)
I have not, either. They are very strange...things. [Ptolly says nothing as far as gambling, because...he's six, idk. Things not in his skill set at this time.]

Mine were as well. [Frown.] Perhaps yours are a different denomination.

[identity profile] ohmykethe.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
[Mildmay would eyebrow raise, if he did that whole facial expression thing.]

Mind using words for stupid folk?

[identity profile] i-am-ptolemy.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 02:11 am (UTC)(link)
Your coins might be worth a different amount than mine. [Pause, and then with the same neutral tone he uses with every fact he states--] You are not stupid.

[identity profile] ohmykethe.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
[One neutral tone begets another:] Right.

...Gorgons are simple: a septad of 'em make a septagorgon, and then you get a septad of them and you get a wheel.

[identity profile] i-am-ptolemy.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 02:19 am (UTC)(link)
[Ptolemy nods, evidently satisfied.]

Oh. Then it is like my orange coin. [He points to the ones in his hand as he speaks.] The reds are worth the least; I have five, which is half of an orange coin, which I only have one of. [Pause.] There are more coins, but they were worth much more. I thought I should not take them.

[identity profile] ohmykethe.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 02:24 am (UTC)(link)
[This is why Mildmay likes children. He does that Tyra-smile-with-his-eyes thing and nods.]

Right colorful, though I guess that's the point. Where d'you use 'em?

[identity profile] i-am-ptolemy.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 02:27 am (UTC)(link)
[And Ptolemy just regards him very solemnly, because it kind of takes someone rambunctious to get him out of srs-bsns mode, and, uh. Things Mildmay isn't.]

In the City. [Pause.] I did not require coins at home; people brought me things as I asked for them. Where do you use gorgons?

[identity profile] ohmykethe.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 02:31 am (UTC)(link)
[Mildmay doesn't mind. Mild mannered children are pretty cool, too. And they don't run around, which is nice.]

That clears it right up, yeah. Gorgons're from the lower city, in Melusine.

[identity profile] i-am-ptolemy.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
[Ahahahaha, high on the list of things Ptolemy doesn't care to do very much. >>]

Where is Melusine?

[identity profile] ohmykethe.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
[BFFs, obvs.]

Bit south of Corambis.

[identity profile] i-am-ptolemy.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
[Clearly. And he's trying to figure this Corambis and Melusine business, and it simply isn't working at all.]

Is that another name for Rome?

[identity profile] ohmykethe.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 02:44 am (UTC)(link)
[Mildmay shrugs.] Could be. My Kekropian's rusty as shit. If'n you got a map, I'll show it to you. [Maaaaaps ♥!]

[identity profile] i-am-ptolemy.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 02:47 am (UTC)(link)
[Ptolemy looks suuuuuuper disappointed.] I do not have any maps.

[identity profile] ohmykethe.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 02:49 am (UTC)(link)
There's the cheaps way up, if'n you don't mind me staggering long after you. I'm betting they got a mapshop. [Mildmay points to the elevator, which is like his new favorite thing since he got here.]

[identity profile] i-am-ptolemy.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 02:52 am (UTC)(link)
The cheaps? [Ptolemy doesn't comprehend, but he slips off the tall stool anyhow, taking care not to fall.]

[identity profile] ohmykethe.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 02:55 am (UTC)(link)
Where you buy and sell things. [Mildmay begins walking to the elevators.] Markets and that?

[identity profile] i-am-ptolemy.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 02:59 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, markets. [Ptolemy walks along with him, doing his best to keep at Mildmay's speed.] Markets seem very interesting.

[identity profile] ohmykethe.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 03:01 am (UTC)(link)
[What with the limp and all, keeping to Mildmay's speed tends to only really be difficult for Mildmay.] Guess they could be. I think I been to too many of them to really get the charm.

[identity profile] i-am-ptolemy.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
[Ptolemy does not want to walk too quickly, you see. He stares at the elevator they're approaching with some curiosity.] I am not allowed to go to them when I am at home.

[identity profile] ohmykethe.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
Kethe, how flash are you? [Mildmay holds the elevator open with Jashuki, leaning against one of the walls.] Press three, if'n you please.

[identity profile] i-am-ptolemy.livejournal.com 2010-03-07 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
What is flash? [Blank look, get. Times, uh, two. small!Ptolemy is kind of used to everything being marked in a way he doesn't recognize when he shows up in places like these. He counts up three but doesn't know not to include the ground floor and ends up pressing the button for the second floor.] I go to the markets sometimes anyway. No one notices when I leave.
